Eclectic and a keen believer in the idea that a creative craft should be approached as if it were an adult play, he has explored different disciplines: mainly architectural design of exterior and interiors but also design, photography, graphics, teaching and criticism. His design is based on two projects habitus: the first humorous, light-hearted and utopian (which presupposes technology and functionality); the second wondrous, dreamlike and sensual (basically ant functional). Roto has been listed in the ADI Design Index and appointed with the Good Design Award of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum.
