A product that stood out not only for its originality and for its function and design innovation, but also for the production processes involved, the materials used and the formal synthesis. Nivis has also distinguished itself for environmental respect, public and social value, attention to both usability and interaction and the ‘Design for All’ policy. With this justification washbasin Nivis, designed for Agape by Andrea Morgante (Shiro Studio) in 2010, received the honorable mention during the award ceremony of the 23rd edition of the Compasso d’Oro ADI Award.
Together with Plus furniture system (designed by Javier López), Nivis had already distinguished itself in the ADI Design Index and was on display at the Bathroom Excellence exhibition 1998/2012 (Cersaie 2013) in the ‘Design for Living’ category; the washbasin was eventually chosen to be on display at the Milan Ansaldo exhibition for the selection of the 23rd edition of the Compasso d’Oro ADI Award last March.
Nivis becomes part of the Compasso d’Oro Collection, declared ‘of national interest’ in 2004: a unique collection showcasing 60 years of history in Italian design.
