The first Agape Store in Belgium has officially opened its doors at Leopoldstraat 59 in the heart of Antwerp. Known as a center of design since 1996, the space embodies the city's dedication to craftsmanship and innovation. The showroom is the latest venture of Ivo de Groot interiors, renowned for his expertise in creating and customizing furniture collections for leading brands. Each project, regardless of size, is crafted with a wealth of accumulated know-how, ensuring a result that balances functionality, durability and aesthetics. The store features a carefully curated selection of Agape's iconic collections, offering visitors a narrative of bathroom design. Customers will find timeless solutions for intimate spaces, with services tailored to their needs.

We are excited to announce that Voilà, the mirror cabinet family designed by Alessandro Andreucci for Agape, has won the Archiproducts Design Award 2024 in the Bathroom category.

With its innovative design, Voilà transforms the wall into a dynamic, functional element. Now available in pivoting and sliding versions, it remains a discreet yet essential storage solution for everyday bathroom accessories.

We look forward to seeing you from September 23 to 27 for Open Days in our Agape Bosco showroom. After the major expansions on the occasion of the 50th anniversary, this year it is the turn of our Barchessa. Agape and Agapecasa debut at the 3DaysofDesign festival in Copenhagen, featured in the Design/Dialogue event by ArkJournal. Architect Camilla Benedini's refined installation in Pakhus 11, a repurposed former port warehouse, highlights the magnetic presence of iconic pieces. The venue’s towering ceilings and original cement tiles set a dramatic backdrop, creating a unique post-industrial museum ambiance.

With towering ceilings and original cement tiles on the walls and floors, iconic projects are displayed on simple cubic elements, epitomizing Agape's vision of the bathroom as an architectural space of well-being. This vision is consistent and profound in all its elements, from bathtubs to sinks, showers to accessories, lighting to mirrors, sanitary ware to taps, and containers.

Agape and Negretti interior architecture invite you Tuesday, April 2, to the Cinema del Carbone in Mantua to attend the screening of the documentary film “Alfabeto Mangiarotti,” directed by Davide Maffei and supported by Agape and Agapecasa. The film investigates the figure of Mangiarotti in the context of Italy's twentieth-century design culture. Interviews with his collaborators and friends delve into points of contact and resonances between the various disciplines in which he worked, seeking to reconstruct his depth of thought.

The screening is part of the 'I see people doing things' review.
Presenting the film is Paolo Ferrarini, researcher, lecturer and content curator, expert in cultural innovation, design, fashion and technology and communication.

65, 50, 30: triple celebration in sight. Our partner Sjartec evolves and transforms into the new Agape Leiden by Sjartec, the first Agape Store in the Netherlands, set to open on Nov. 30, in the year of the store's 65th anniversary and our 50th birthday.

The 445-square-meter showroom devotes 235 square meters to Agape's rich catalog, with ten settings that capture the essence of our collections, complementing the design universe of the Dutch company.

We celebrate this milestone together, thanking Sjartec for the dedication shown over many years of inspiring collaboration.

Taiwan's first Agape Store opens its doors, in Taipei, on the "beautiful island" that the Portuguese in the 1500s not coincidentally named Formosa.

The new space is the result of a collaboration that began in 2017 with Jiapin_tw (JIA Enterprise), part of the Home Deluxe Group, culminating today with this striking showroom in the Neihu district, in the north of the city. The store features a carefully curated selection of leading international bathroom and kitchen furniture brands. Spread over three floors, JIA dedicated an entire floor to the Agape collection. The display is an object-based narrative of our design approach to bathroom furniture. More than ten settings house Agape's main collections-including the recent Outdoor-interspersed with technical areas, meeting and design spaces to welcome customers looking for timeless solutions for the most intimate living environment.

We are pleased to announce that Cenote a colonna, the new freestanding washbasin designed by Patricia Urquiola for Agape, has won the Archiproducts Design Award 2023 in the Bathroom category, thanks to its design where the craft component and essential architectural composition emphasize the sensory vibrations of fireclay.

Rendez-Vous by Agape, designed by Marco Carini and selected for the Adi Design Index 2023, is now on display at the ADI Design Museum in Milan. The exhibition represents a selection of the best products and services in Italian design, part of the preparation process for the prestigious Compasso d'Oro Award, which will celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2024. 
After the Milan stop, the exhibition will land in Rome.

The magazine "Il Bagno Oggi e Domani" is celebrating its 50th anniversary. To celebrate it, the historic publication has organized an exhibition to be held at the ADI Design Museum in Milan from November 6 to 20. The event is a unique opportunity to discover the evolution of the bathroom sector with a journey through its most significant stages.
"Il Bagno Oggi e Domani," which has dedicated numerous features to Agape in recent years, has included us among the protagonists in the rich 400-page volume produced to accompany the event.

On the occasion of the XXIII edition of the Week of Italian Language in the World, a screening of the docufilm "Alfabeto Mangiarotti" took place on October 24 at the Auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo. The event, which was sold out with more than 300 spectators and field professionals, was jointly organized by the Italian Cultural Institute and Mangiarotti Associates Japan with the invaluable support of Kinue Horikawa, a Japanese architect who has worked alongside the Maestro for nearly two decades.
The event, preceded by a presentation by director Davide Maffei, was a tribute to the deep connection between Mangiarotti and Japan. A nation that has played a key role in the Master's career, culminating with the opening of his studio "Mangiarotti & Associates" in Tokyo in 1989.

Sunday was a truly special day as we gathered to celebrate Agape's 50th anniversary! Retailers, architects, journalists and friends from around the world came to Mantua to mark this significant milestone with us. It was a day filled with joyful connections, celebrating five decades of a company that embodies the personal values and family spirit of its founders, Emanuele and Giampaolo Benedini.
Agape's deep connection with Mantua and its surrounding region has shaped its identity. This ethos isn't just a way of doing business; it's a way of life that has guided Agape's journey from the past to the present, leading the charge in redefining bathroom aesthetics.

In parallel with the retrospective that the Milan Triennale is dedicating to Angelo Mangiarotti, the cycle of international screenings of “Alfabeto Mangiarotti,” the docufilm made with the direction of Davide Maffei and the support of Agape and Agapecasa, continues.
After the Milan Design Film Festival in November and the screening at the MAXXI auditorium in Rome on the occasion of the review “Design Icons at the Cinema: Italy 1960 -1990,” the docufilm was then shown in Lisbon in the opening Session of the Film Festival “Design Meets Hands” and in Verona thanks to the Order of Architects Verona.

Another important acknowledgment for Ell a colonna by Benedini Associati: the washbasin has been nominated by Elle Decor Italia for the Bathroom category at EDIDA 2023.

The winners will be selected from all the 25 editions of the Elle Decoration network around the world and the award ceremony will take place in Milan during the next Design Week.

Premiered on November 2022 at Milan Design Film Festival, the feature-length documentary on architect Angelo
Mangiarotti ‘s work by director Davide Maffei. Year-long research which led to this independent production by Airpixel, with the support of Agape e Agapecasa and the collaboration of Angelo Mangiarotti Foundation and its unique materials preserved in the FAM Archive in Milan.

We are pleased to announce that Ell a colonna, the new freestanding washbasin designed by Benedini Associati for Agape, has won the Archiproducts Design Award 2022 in the Bathroom category, thanks to its innovative interpretation of the pure essence of the washbasin.

The Limón tap by Patricia Urquiola has won the ADI Fad Oro Award in the Interiorismo category and has been included in the ADI Book 2022. The jury statement: “A reinterpretation of a tap, based on simplifying the gesture of turning the tap on and off. Simplicity highlights the joy of design.”

Every year ADI Associazione per il Disegno Industriale identifies the best Italian design put into production, selected by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory and presents it in a communication path that is divided into a yearbook, a dedicated website and a series of exhibitions. The selection includes products and product systems of every product category, theoretical-critical research, process and business research, services, social initiatives: all with particular attention to sustainability. Only products selected in the ADI Design Index can participate in the ADI Compasso d'Oro.

The Limon tap by Patricia Urquiola won the Delta de Oro ADI Award 2022 established by the Spanish ADI-Fad industrial design association.

In a prestigious location in Rue de l'Opera, on June 16th, Agape opened, in collaboration with Florim, a new exhibition space in Paris at the David B store.

We are pleased to announce that Open Air, the new shower designed by Benedini Associati for Agape, won the Archiproducts Design Award 2020 in the Outdoor category. The mobility and flexibility that evoke the informality of outdoor environments make the Open Air shower a key product of the Outdoor Collection, very unique and appreciated. The base is in dark gray Cementoskin with black anodized aluminum support, while the water supply elements are made of plastic.

The Ufo Outdoor bathtub, also by Benedini Associati, was instead included in the Longlist of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2020. Ufo Outdoor revisits one of the most iconic and historic products in the Agape catalogue. The bathtub, now available for outdoor use, with its large stainless steel disc in a two-tone finish, surprises and enhances any context in which it is inserted.

In the renovated spaces of Agape12, within a story that unfolds between beauty and function, Agape is looking to seeing you at the Milano Design City 2020.

The exhibition, curated by the architect Camilla Benedini, was born from an emotional need: to go back to dreaming and designing, looking for beauty. The hues of pink and green are the protagonists: walls and accessories that are colored giving life to new bright and fresh environments. Beauty is flanked by irony, the primary element of life and of the project, thanks to the drawings of the illustrator Marta Lonardi, who reinterprets the actions of living through characters of the imagination. On this occasion, Agapecasa and Agape present a "capsule collection" with furniture in shades of green, exclusively for the store, proposing an evolution of the Ell washbasin countertop and new variants for the Lariana washbasin and the Lift containers.

We congratulate Nargis and Nasir Kassamali - founders of Luminaire, our historic dealer in the USA, for winning the Compasso d’Oro - Career Award. Our most sincere congratulations for their enduring passion, work and visionary approach!

Another great news from this year’s Compasso d’Oro XXVI edition: Marco Ferreri won the Compasso D’Oro - Career Award. We are glad we could be part of his outstanding journey with two long-seller icons like the Oseries and Barralibera he designed for Agape.

Mutina and Studio Urquiola had chosen the Vieques bathtub and the Bjhon 1 freestanding washbasin for Casa Mutina, the first exhibition space of the Modenese company in Milan, in the Brera district. Designed by Studio Urquiola, Casa Mutina is a sophistichated homage to the traditional milanese apartment with its intimate and familiar atmospheres. The Immersion family by Neri&Hu won the 2020 NYCxDESIGN Awards in the "Bath fixtures" category.
The award for the whole of the Immersion family arrives two years after the one won by the Immersion bathtub in 2017. A welcome certification of Agape's high level collaboration with Neri&Hu, the prize validates our approach to product design as the development of complete solutions for the bathing experience.

We are fully operational. The whole supply chain is at work to ensure that deliveries and orders are on schedule as planned. Our Headquarter Showroom near Mantova is open by appointment and Agape12, our Milan Flagship Store, has reopened its doors with its usual opening hours. We invested considerable time and effort to fully comply with the most recent requirements and protocols issued by national authorities to ensure the well-being, the health and the safety of our personnel and guests.

Happy Easter! - Usually at this point we are so busy preparing the Salone that everything else falls into second place. Not now. This year Easter comes about in a very particular moment. What is happening around us, with us, gave us a chance to re-evaluate our priorities in spite all the troubles.

Culture and collaboration, two founding pillars of our way of doing, are more important than ever and bring us to new territories related to the new centrality of our physicality and of the spaces we inhabit. We are proud to announce that the Agape Petra Collection in Cementoskin, designed by Diego Vencato and Merendi, has been honored with the Stylepark Magazine Selected Award as one of the best product premieres of the Cologne Design Week. “In these days” - as the jury statement claimed - “exterior spaces receive a great amount of attention when it comes to design and are now truly on a par with interiors. With its Petra outdoor washbasin Agape now offers a wash space suitable for use in the garden that boasts an ultramodern design.” Thank you!

During Design Post Köln 2020, Agape displayed the Architecture of the Bathroom, narrated through object, compositions and matter. Rigo’s structure, Petra’s concrete, DR’s mass and Ell’s minimal sign become the latest musings along a research and design process that began almost 50 years ago.

We’re glad to announce that Rigo, the new system designed by Patricia Urquiola for Agape, thanks to its groundbreakingly new and architectural way of re-thinking the bathroom composition, has won the Archiproducts Design Award 2019 in the Bathroom category.
